Yes. RubanTea was initially built for agents in the Nilgiris district and is now used by agents in Assam, Darjeeling and other tea regions too. The settlement logic follows the Indian tea industry standard fortnightly cycle.

RubanTea is web-based and works on any smartphone with a browser. In areas with poor connectivity, we provide guidance on offline data entry methods. A native mobile app with offline support is available for high-volume agents.

Every 15 days, RubanTea calculates total leaf supplied by each farmer, multiplies by the factory rate received, deducts pending advances, and generates a net payment amount. Settlement slips are generated as PDFs for each farmer.

Yes. RubanTea supports unlimited farmers organised by collection routes. Each route can have a supervisor. You see route-wise and farmer-wise summaries at any time.

You manually enter the factory payment received (factory advice slip amounts) into RubanTea. The system then distributes the payment to farmers based on their leaf contribution to that dispatch.

Most agents are fully operational within 3-5 days. We help you set up farmer data, routes and opening balances. A training session of 2-3 hours is enough for you and your staff to start using it confidently.
