The Challenge
A 2-year-old logistics startup was running on a mix of Google Sheets, WhatsApp groups, and an off-the-shelf driver-tracking SaaS that cost ?85/driver/month and didn't integrate with anything. Onboarding new pin-codes meant new spreadsheets. Customer support couldn't see live status. Drivers wanted features that weren't coming.
Our Solution
Built a custom stack: React Native customer app (book, track, rate, pay), Flutter driver app (accept jobs, navigate, scan proof-of-delivery, get paid), and a React+Node operations dashboard for the central team. Real-time location pushes via Firebase. Razorpay handles customer payments; UPI auto-payouts handle driver settlements weekly. Built a region-based pricing engine the ops team can update without us.
The Results
? SaaS cost eliminated — saved ?2.5 lakh in first year (?85 ? 250 drivers ? 12 months)
? Customer NPS rose from 42 to 67 in 6 months after launch
? Driver retention up 35% (faster payments, cleaner app)
