A fashion brand selling sarees and ethnic wear was paying ?15,000/month for a Shopify subscription plus 2% transaction fees on top of payment gateway charges. They wanted to add a B2B wholesale section, multi-vendor support for partner boutiques, and Tamil-language UI — none of which Shopify cleanly supported.
Our Solution
Built a custom Laravel + MySQL e-commerce platform with two storefronts (B2C consumer + B2B wholesale with login-gated pricing). Vendor onboarding workflow for boutique partners. Razorpay integration for cards/UPI/EMI. Tamil-language toggle on every customer-facing page. Logistics integrated with Delhivery and DTDC APIs. Admin can launch flash sales, manage inventory, and run discount campaigns without developer help.
The Results
? Eliminated ?15,000/month Shopify cost (paid off custom build in 14 months)
? Conversion rate improved 22% after launching Tamil-language UI
